I've been photographing humans since 2005.
Couples, families & newborns - which when you boil it down, it's all people who are in love.
I also shoot in the commercial sector, specialising in working with local companies to help them with their marketing needs.
We're told that we should find a niche and stick to it, but I disagree. Covering this diverse range of subjects has made me a stronger, more flexible photographer. I've learned what light works best, but also how to work with any light that I'm given.
I've figured out the way to shoot efficiently, elegantly, naturally, and how to make people more at ease in front of the camera. I know how to make a new mum feel comfy, how to make a toddler laugh and how to provide professional, effective imagery for businesses.

My partner and I had never had professional photos taken before and were worried it might be awkward.. this could not have been more wrong with Tegan. She has a certain calming nature to her that makes you feel comfortable instantly. Although she was giving guidance on different poses we could try, half the time she was like a magician and I didn't even realize she was taking pictures. I had seen a lot of Tegans work prior to our shoot so I knew they would be beautiful, but never expected to love them as much as we do. Literally can not stop looking at them.
